I have to admit.
When I was 14/15 I didn’t listen to Brand New, TBS, or any of the other throwback pop punk goodness.
I was listening to Killswitch Engage, Eve 6, System of a Down, Rammstein, Staind, The Postal Service, Taproot, Dream Theater, Metallica, Nelly, Ja Rule, The Beatles, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and other things I can’t remember.
So, uh.
I guess what I’m saying is that my love of those early 2000’s pop-punk bands and songs is relatively recent, and is totally non-ironic, non-nostalgic, and I’m just a big ol’ baby or something.
And I had really shitty and weird tastes as an early teenager.
